We manage over 600 company Group Plans in Edmonton and the Surrounding area and there are 1300 businesses in Edmonton that use Chamber’s Plan as their preferred provider. Some of the key advantages to Chamber’s Plan are they are a “not-for-profit” provider and they pool your claims and premiums with thousands of other businesses (all surpluses go back into the pool to reduce future renewal premiums).

Other Available Benefits
Employee and family Assistance Programs
These plans cover additional counselling services for employees and their families. Sometimes the standard psychology benefit is not enough, and many programs offer additional counselling for family members.

Video-chat with a doctor or nurse via mobile app any time of the day for advice and prescription refills
Critical Illness
If an employee were to be diagnosed with 1 of 24 major illnesses they would receive a lump sum payout, usually $25,000 is standard. Examples are stroke, heart attack, cancer, MS, ALS, Alzheimer’s, Major organ failure etc.
Healthcare Spending Accounts and Wellness Accounts
We can create a small side account for the staff that gives you an extra couple hundred dollars per year to be used for any shortfalls that the traditional group plan does not cover. i.e. the remaining balances not paid on glasses, prescriptions or dental or extra massage can be submitted to you HSA.
Group RRSP’s
This is a voluntary program where the staff can have a portion of their paycheck withheld at source and deposited into a Group RRSP. It helps to lower their income tax while growing their money “tax-deferred”.
