It can be hard on your body to sit at a desk for eight hours a day, leading to lasting neck and back pain as your joints stiffen throughout the day. 

We found a great article from Global News that provides insights and tips on how to improve your posture at work. Here are some of the key points: 

  • Your elbows should be at a 90 degree angle to your keyboard to prevent slouching

  • Your computer monitor should be placed 10 - 15 degrees higher than your eye line

  • Try to stand up every 15 minutes to prevent health issues caused by sitting

  • Wear comfortable footwear as much as possible to avoid shifting your body weight - this can cause ankle, knee, and hip tension
